Leadership

Mr. Sweeney founded Align Financial Group LLC in 2003, as well as Personable Holdings, Inc in 2011, Catalytic Holdings LLC in 2013 and NALICO General Agency, LLC in 2020. Mr. Sweeney graduated from University College Galway, Ireland in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Immunology.

Mr. Johnson has 30 years of insurance and management experience. He is a recognized industry leader in underwriting profitable personal and commercial catastrophe programs as well as a wide variety of property and casualty products.  John graduated from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business with a B.A. in finance.

Michelle has 30 years of Insurance Corporate and Premium Accounting experience with expertise in implementation of cash reconciliation, online payment systems, and commissioning systems for streamlining and automation of the cash flow processes. Mrs. Roccoforte earned her Certified Public Accounting designation after graduating from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Jerry Batcheller began his insurance career in 1987 at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc. ultimately becoming Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the operations of a nearly $1 billion in annual written premium business. Mr. Batcheller joined Align in April of 2008 and has taken on the Chief Operating Officer role as the business continues to grow.  Mr. Batcheller graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

With additional expertise in start-up operations, M&A, negotiations, acquisition integration, marketing, accounting, resource management, and risk analysis and management, Andy is all-in-inclusive solution for organizations seeking strong leadership and practical knowledge of financial and operational aspects to managing a business.

Ryan, an expert in brand awareness strategies through technology,  has held significant leadership positions within the insurance industry from Chief Marketing Office at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency to President of Prospection General Insurance Agency.  As President of Deposit Choice, LLC, Ryan is focused on building strategic partnerships positioning Align Financial as a leader in the specialty surety marketplace.

A proud graduate of SDSU, with a degree in Information Systems, Rick has held leadership roles in IT, System Development, Business Intelligence Distribution , Operations and Product Development and Pricing.  Prior to joining Align Financial Holdings in 2012, Rick excelled for decades in executive positions with Arrowhead, AAA, and MAPFRE.  Today, Rick leads Streamlign, the FinTech division of Align Financial Holdings.
